The new Presbyterian Church, erected on the highest eminence of the town, and known as the beauty spot of Mt. Perry, has been completed by the contractor, Mr. B. Clemence It is a truly pretty building, the main portion measuring 36 feet by 22 feet, with a pretty porch at the entrance. It is constructed of district obtained timber, cut at the local sawmill, and has accommodation for a congregation of 150 persons. The fittings are in proportion to the building. The pulpit has six handsome cedar panels which have been presented to the church, and tbe seats are well made, with reclining backs. The church is lined and ceiled and. as was evidenced on dedication night; is very warm and comfortable, notwithstanding the coldness dt the atmosphere outside whilst the ventilation is most perfect/being adapted from the latest approved form of modern architecture.
